"Austin's simmering real estate market may have cooled down a bit, but that's good news for both buyers and sellers! A report from Zillow shows the average home value in the area is down 12% from record highs in June, yet there's a silver lining."

For buyers, they'll face less competition and enjoy a richer inventory of homes to choose from. For sellers, greater inventory means more potential buyers, keeping the market vibrant and active.

Interestingly, despite the cooling market, property taxes are yet to follow suit. This has led to a wave of Central Texans considering protesting their appraisals. If you're one of them, this could be a game-changer. Lets discuss if you haven't already...

The housing market may not be as sizzling as before, but real estate in Austin remains a hot topic. The city's market is returning faster to normal than those in many other parts of the country, with new opportunities for buyers and sellers alike!

Boomtown Austin is back in business, and the local real estate scene is the place to be. With over 10,000 units available last month compared to 7,700 the previous year, the city is paving the way for a vibrant property market. The days of easy pickings may be over, but with an agent's help, there are still gems to be found!
